It started when the Overground carriage became, like some sort of horror movie, awash with ox blood. I love ox blood. Or at least I did, but being surrounded by three beanies, two jumpers, one pair of tights and one pair of pants in one carriage, I wished for a splash of colour to break the monotonous tones of a now well and truly dead ox.
My colour hopes? Nectarines, and hazy purples - think Sharon Stone in Casino, without the drama.
